The Deeper Story

I’m Liane de Lotbinière.  I am a skilled bilingual voice actor. I love the work that I do. I get to be the final creative element on amazing and rewarding projects.  And I’ve been able to help truly gifted creative clients and their teams.

Entering into voice acting happened quite naturally. With a career singing, writing music, playing in bands, performing live and recording records, a publishing deal (but that’s a longer story for later)… I learned how to record my own creations. The opportunity to intern, then work, as a post audio engineer and producer ensued.  While engineering casting sessions with two dynamite casting directors I learned so much about voice performance (thank you!).  Then when working at media houses one of my tasks was directing voice talent…these experiences opened my ears, and heart, to voice-over.

That was it.  I had to be on the other side of the glass (just like my mum had been saying for years – thanks mom) and I have never looked back.

I Love it…and I get to do it twice as much – in 2 languages.

From my cozy studio I voice all kinds of stuff: a gamut of cool commercials,  promos, wonderful documentaries, phone systems, in flight, narrations, e-learning and singing clever jingles in both English and French Canadian for clients all over the world.
